Brought up in a musically gifted family Junior Kenna (Harderwijk, 19 Jan 1995) began performing and recording his music at the tender age of 10. He initially began as a rapper, but soon crossed over to dancehall/reggae. From 2014 Jr. Kenna acquired more prominence in that scene. He was the supporting act for Gyptian and performed at Reggae Ville (Heineken Music Hall) and Zwarte Cross (2016). He also took part in Benelux Reggae Contest in Antwerp and ended second.
July 2016 his Area 026 Music produced EP 'Here I Come' was released. Kenna’s music is a mix of dancehall/reggae with lyrics ranging from light to more serious subjects like love and everyday life struggles.
